John Balmer Memorial Day Sun 17th August 2008

We would like to thank everyone for turning out in supporting our John Balmer Memorial and Charity Day. The day was a big sucess and enjoyed by all.
Unfortunatly the football didn't go too well for stainland as the legends beat us 6-2 even singe managed to get himself on the score sheet scoring a 30 yard open goal.

Thanks to ASDA, Harveys, Sonoco, Amber Rose, Duke of York and the Rose and Crown who all donated top prizes for the raffle and auction.
All the proceeds from the day went to the L.G.I Hospital which was a total of ~~~ £ 665.00
